Blowup (1966)
Swinging 60s London in all its glory. Actually, it wasn't so great. The movie was a sort of deeply philosophical look at Swinging London and how empty it is behind the glamor of supermodels, drugs, and sex. They do have a great wardrobe of outfits from the 60s and the great mod styles. There's not much music in the movie, and the story had a lot of ambiguity, so you were free to interpret much of what happened in different ways. That's part of what makes it a great movie, but also makes it hard to talk about it.
I rented it because it was recommended by Tim Gunn in his book, and this movie was a good source for 1960s fashions.
